One held over Mymensingh teenage boy murder

Special Correspondent:: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a man accused in a case filed over beating a teenage boy to death in Gauripur upazila of Mymensingh.

The detainee was identified as Akkas Ali, 40.

Confirming the matter to Banglanews on Friday noon (Sep 29), RAB-14 media wing ASI Al Mamun said Akkas was detained from Kishoreganj’s Bhairab upazila around 2:30am on Friday.

Earlier on Sep 25, a teenage boy, Sagar Mia, was beaten to death by a group of miscreants in suspicion of theft. Later a case was filed in this connection with Gauripur police station accusing 12 people including Akkas Ali.
