Sports Desk:  South Africa recovered after the early departure of top-order batsman Hashim Amla (28) during the fourth and penultimate day’s play of their first Test match against Bangladesh at Senwes Park Sunday.

At lunch, the Proteas made 203 runs for the loss of three wickets in 45 overs, leading Bangladesh by 379.

Middle-order batsman Temba Bavuma was unbeaten on 64 while captain Faf du Plessis was not out on 77.
